Extreme Split Window "Resto -Mod"
A while ago stumbled on a true gem of automotive art. That gem was the Legacy
Innovations 1963 restro-modded split window. The only word that can
describe this car is "Aahhhhh".
This Vette was the creation of legendary car builder Ron Saboury and Legacy Innovations out of out of York PA.
The
unrestored car was found at the Corvettes of Carlisle show. The car was
dissembled and fitted with a Legacy tube chassis. To make things
interesting the 63 was treated to a supercharged LS9 crate engine.
Power is transmitted to the ground via a Tremec six speed tranny and a
Ford nine inch rear.
The
car has to be seen to be believed. This is truly a total package with
no detail left unattended to. The car boasts a side exit Borla SS
exhaust , Wilwood brakes, and a custom interior that would make any GM
design engineer proud of.
Other
features of the Widow include:LS 9-ZR 1 Engine-638 HPStainless Headers
and Borla Stainless Mufflers, TIG-Welded Tube
